Placements24 in Vereeniging is seeking an organized HR Administrator specializing in Payroll to join our clients team on-site. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, handle statutory deductions, and maintain payroll records with confidentiality.

The role requires solid knowledge of SA payroll regulations and payroll software such as Sage, VIP Payroll or PaySpace, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of HR administration with payroll experience.
• Proficiency in payroll software (Sage, VIP Payroll, PaySpace) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of South African payroll legislation (PAYE, UIF, SDL).

Responsabilités

• Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately for all employees.
• Update payroll data for new hires, terminations and pay changes.
• Calculate and process statutory deductions (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and government agencies.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and data integrity.
• Respond to employee payroll queries.
• Assist with employee benefits administration (medical aid, provident fund).
• Support HR with general admin tasks.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
