Placements24 is assisting a Centurion-based charitable organization in finding a dynamic Partnership Development Officer. The role focuses on identifying and cultivating alliances with businesses, foundations, and key stakeholders to expand educational initiatives in Centurion and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years in partnership development, strong networking and negotiation skills, and proficiency with CRM and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Philanthropy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in partnership development, corporate relations, fundraising, or business development, preferably in non-profit.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating and securing major gifts or partnerships.
• Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.
• Understanding of Centurion business and philanthropic community is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A genuine passion for education and community development.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic plans for cultivating new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships.
• Craft and present compelling proposals, presentations, and funding requests to prospective partners.
• Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and adherence to terms.
• Organize and host events, meetings, and site visits for current and potential partners.
• Collaborate with internal program teams to ensure partner engagement aligns with organizational objectives.
• Track partnership activities, contributions, and outcomes, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in partnership development and corporate social responsibility.
• Represent our client at relevant community and industry events in and around Centurion.
