Job summary

You will diagnose hardware, software, firmware, and IT faults, perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime, and submit accurate job sheets. This role suits a self-driven individual working across multiple client sites with limited on-site support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in the office automation industry.
• Field service experience is required.
• Experience with high-volume devices is advantageous.
• Understanding of networking and software is part of the role.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and firmware.
• Ability to follow manuals and technical documentation in low-connectivity areas.
• Good communication with clients and management.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair client devices onsite, focusing on copiers and printers.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, firmware and IT faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and meet SLA.
• Balance maintenance with reactive breakdown calls across client sites.
• Manage boot stock of toners and spares and submit monthly job sheets.
• Log and update jobs accurately using the Tech Connect mobile app.
