Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Printer Technician role based in Randburg. The Printer Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of printers and printing solutions at client locations and within the company environment. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving printer faults, performing routine maintenance, managing consumables, and supporting users with printing-related issues. The role also involves basic desktop computer support where it relates to printing, such as driver installations, connectivity troubleshooting, and integration with networks. The Printer Technician works closely with the broader technical support team to ensure minimal downtime and consistent, high-quality service for clients.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Printer Support and be familiar with different types of Printers and their associated hardware components.
• Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including experience supporting Desktop Computers in an IT environment.
• Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to printing.
• Relevant technical certifications or training in IT support, printer maintenance, or hardware repair are beneficial.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles, good communication skills, and the ability to document issues and resolutions clearly are advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Randburg, manage multiple service requests, and adhere to safety and quality standards is required.
