The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background with 3–5 years in manufacturing support, familiar with ISO 9001 and safety practices, and capable of working in a plant environment in Paarl.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in process engineering or manufacturing support.
• Solid understanding of unit operations and process control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify issues.
• Implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and update SOPs for plant operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process upsets.
• Conduct process validation and qualification activities.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure specs and regulatory compliance.
• Support process hazard analyses and safe operating practices.
• Participate in plant modifications or upgrades.
• Train operators on new procedures and changes.
• Maintain accurate process records and documentation.
