Collaboration with production and engineering teams is essential to ensure efficiency and compliance. Required is a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years in a similar Oil & Gas role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Production Chemist or similar in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of production chemistry including corrosion, scale and emulsion control.
• Experience with laboratory analytical techniques and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses of production fluids and samples.
• Monitor process parameters related to chemical performance and effectiveness.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to corrosion, scaling, and emulsion formation.
• Recommend and implement chemical treatment programs.
• Evaluate performance of production chemicals and suppliers.
• Assist in development and implementation of new chemical treatment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations for chemical handling and disposal.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure accuracy of results.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
