Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years in industrial engineering with plant operations focus.
• Proficiency in Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical tools (Minitab, Excel).
• Strong planning, scheduling, and control systems knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration with operations staff.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Authorized to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and plan improvements.
• Implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methods.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow and resources.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions for production activities.
• Monitor KPIs for production efficiency and report trends.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams.
• Participate in the design and layout of new equipment and production lines.
• Ensure operations comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Support training on new processes and best practices.
• Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives through process optimization.
