Placements24 is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join our on-site team in Randburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on maintaining IT infrastructure, resolving hardware/software issues, and supporting end-users with timely service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an IT support or helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and basic network diagnostics.
• Proficiency with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage software installations, updates, and license compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by users in a timely manner.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and prioritize requests by urgency and impact.
• Assist with user account management (setup, password resets, access permissions).
• Maintain accurate IT inventory and documentation of IT assets.
• Conduct regular system checks and preventative maintenance for performance and security.
• Provide basic training and support to users on IT systems and applications.
