Job summary

Daisy Business Solutions is seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician to join a forward-thinking ICT managed services team. You will provide hands-on hardware/software support at client sites and maintain network infrastructure, including Ubiquiti and Sophos environments, with Reyee knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities include configuring VLANs, troubleshooting routing protocols, and supporting Microsoft 365 across server platforms while ensuring accurate documentation and timely service

Qualifications

• Proven field experience with a proactive approach to resolving complex technical issues.
• Solid understanding of network architecture, server environments, and desktop support.
• Fully bilingual in English; Afrikaans skills will be advantageous.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, N+, S+ or Microsoft certifications are highly regarded.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 2 years.
• Strong organizational skills with punctuality and administrative diligence.
• Excellent time management and professionalism in client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on hardware and software support for desktops, laptops and servers at client sites.
• Configure and maintain network infra (Ubiquiti, Sophos); Reyee knowledge a plus.
• Implement and troubleshoot VLANs and routing protocols.
• Resolve issues in Microsoft 365 and various server platforms.
• Maintain documentation, job cards and real-time service activity tracking.
• Participate in after-hours standby rotations and overtime as needed.
