Job summary

Daisy Business Solutions is seeking an IT Solutions Specialist to work in the Eastern Cape, focusing on client-facing pre-sales and solution design across Managed IT Services, Networking & Infrastructure, Microsoft 365 & Cloud, and Cybersecurity. You will collaborate with sales to uncover opportunities and translate technical concepts into business value.

You will take over an established Port Elizabeth client portfolio, build long-term relationships, and support closing deals through

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching and WiFi.
• Experience in client-facing IT solutions or pre-sales.
• Certifications such as CCNA, MikroTik, Microsoft, CompTIA or Sophos.

About the Role

Daisy Business Solutions is looking for an IT Solutions Specialist to join our Eastern Cape team. This is a client-facing solutions and pre-sales role, not an internal helpdesk position. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with our sales representatives to identify opportunities, run solution discovery, and design tailored technology across Managed IT Services, Networking & Infrastructure, Microsoft 365 & Cloud, and Cybersecurity. You will take over an established portfolio of Port Elizabeth clients through a structured handover, build long-term relationships, and translate technical solutions into clear business value that helps close deals and grow managed-services revenue.

What You’ll Do

• Engage with clients alongside sales representatives to identify IT opportunities.
• Conduct site assessments and solution discovery sessions.
• Design tailored solutions across Managed IT Services, Networking & Infrastructure, Microsoft 365 & Cloud, and Cybersecurity.
• Build proposals, pricing, and solution architectures.
• Present solutions and assist the sales team in closing deals.
• Take over and manage an existing portfolio of Port Elizabeth clients through a structured handover.

What You’ll Bring

• Practical knowledge of networking (routing, switching and WiFi), Microsoft 365, cybersecurity and server fundamentals.
• Cybersecurity fundamentals including firewall, endpoint and email security.
• Ability to translate practical solutions into clear business value.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a client-facing role.
• Ability to build proposals, pricing and solution architectures.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport (regular client site visits required).
• Advantageous Experience in a client-facing IT solutions, IT pre-sales, MSP, or IT sales environment.
• Familiarity with Reyee/Ruijie, Sophos or MikroTik product lines.
• Relevant IT certifications such as CCNA, MikroTik, Microsoft, CompTIA or Sophos.
