Placements24 is seeking a Remote Field Service Technician to perform on-site installations and maintenance of network hardware across client sites. The role requires extensive travel, strong customer-facing skills, and solid networking knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

You will document activities in the CRM, collaborate with remote teams, and ensure reliable network operations while adhering to safety protocols.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role with network focus.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper or similar enterprise network gear.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues across operating systems.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work remotely.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-site installations, upgrades, and maintenance of network hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Conduct routine system checks and preventative maintenance.
• Provide expert technical support to clients during and after installations.
• Document all service activities in the CRM with steps and resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior teams when needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment for calls.
• Adhere to safety protocols and client site security requirements.
• Collaborate with remote support teams to share knowledge.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with timely technical solutions.
