Job summary

The Recruitment Council is seeking a Junior IT Field Technician for our Centurion client. This role combines on-site client visits with remote troubleshooting to deliver fast and reliable technical support.

You will diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues, install and configure PCs and peripherals, and maintain up-to-date documentation. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with CompTIA A+ and Network+ required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience as an IT field technician.
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ are required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for daily on-site travel.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues both on-site and via remote desktop tools.
• Install, configure computer systems and peripherals as needed.
• Test and stage hardware prior to deployment to verify system stability.
• Conduct routine maintenance across client locations.
• Support Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Document visits, resolutions, and inventory in the ticketing system.
• Interact with clients professionally and provide basic system training.
