Placements24 is seeking an organized and creative E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to join our client’s team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role focuses on curating and presenting products online to drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.

You’ll optimize listings, manage categories, and ensure a visually appealing, navigable site. You should have a keen eye for product presentation, understand online consumer behavior, and be adept at using data to inform merchandising

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
• 1–3 years in e-commerce merchandising, retail, or related field.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and online merchandising principles.
• Proficiency with CMS and basic SEO concepts.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Curate and organize products within categories on the e-commerce site to maximize visibility and sales.
• Optimize product listings with descriptions, images, and keywords for SEO.
• Develop strategies for product placement, promotions, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Analyze sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify trends.
• Collaborate with marketing to align merchandising with campaigns.
• Ensure accurate product information including pricing, stock, and specs.
• Monitor competitor merchandising trends and best practices.
• Conduct usability tests and collect customer feedback to improve UX.
• Manage product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation.
• Stay updated on e-commerce merchandising tools and tech.
