Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage and enhance the online store based in Kimberley. You will handle day-to-day operations, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.

You will work with marketing, IT, and product teams to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the online environment using analytics and best practices for online retail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and operating e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and CRO.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics.
• Experience with PIM systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the e-commerce platform, including product catalog updates, content management, and site configuration.
• Ensure the website functions correctly, optimizing for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement and manage promotions, discounts, and special offers on the e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective integration of campaigns and user journeys.
• Monitor website analytics to identify user behavior patterns and opportunities for CRO.
• Provide technical support for the e-commerce platform and troubleshoot issues.
