Job summary

Pedros in Belgravia, Cape Town, is opening a brand-new store and seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead our launch team. You will oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, stock control and customer service to build a strong store culture from day one.

With at least 3 years in restaurant or fast‑food management, you’ll drive profitability, ensure health and safety standards, and foster training and development for the team as we grow with the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years restaurant/fast-food management experience.
• GAAP knowledge advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing overall operation of the restaurant/take-away.
• Ensuring quality standards of food and SOPs are maintained.
• Overseeing and managing stock control, purchasing and orders.
• Dealing with customer complaints and maintaining service levels.
• Maximising profitability and meeting sales targets, including staff motivation.
• Managing staff, including discipline and rosters.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures at the store.
• Lead staff training and development and conduct regular meetings.
• Recruitment and selection to increase productivity and profitability.
• Performance evaluations of staff.
