Placements24 is seeking a Mortgage Originator in Vereeniging, Gauteng to build a loan pipeline, advise clients on mortgage products, and guide them through underwriting and closing. The role requires strong communication, knowledge of loan programs, and dedication to client service.

You will collaborate with underwriters and closers, stay updated on regulatory changes, and nurture relationships with real estate partners while achieving monthly targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in mortgage origination or related sales
• Knowledge of FHA/VA/conventional loan programs and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of mortgage leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
• Interview borrowers to assess financial situation and determine eligibility for mortgage products.
• Advise clients on suitable mortgage programs, explaining terms, rates, and fees clearly.
• Guide borrowers through loan application process with accurate documentation collection.
• Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and closing agents to ensure timely closings.
• Stay current with lending guidelines, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
• Build relationships with real estate agents, builders, and referral partners to drive business.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual production goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process and ensure compliance.
