Job summary

Hexagon Mining is seeking a Hardware Technician to provide site-based and remote system support for mining customers. You will deploy new and upgraded systems at mine sites, perform basic troubleshooting, and develop procedures and reports based on customer needs.

You will be a point of escalation for technical issues, collaborate with Project Managers to deploy systems on time and within budget, and ensure efficient, compliant deployments across environments with potential travel to sites

Qualifications

• Experience applying technology in harsh industrial environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good customer service.
• Fluency in English; French is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and review project proposals and plans with colleagues and customers.
• Execute project phases, elements and schedule; determine specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates; load configurations and upgrades into computing equipment.
• Maintain project data and document configurations; administer service agreements.
• Ensure adherence to QHSE, safety, and compliance policies; communicate issues clearly.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and teams.
