Job summary

Hexagon Mining, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Technician to provide site-based and remote system support for mining projects. You will deploy new and upgraded systems at customer mine sites and troubleshoot basic software and OS issues.

You will develop procedures and reports in response to customer needs while working with Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget deployment. The role requires strong knowledge of mining systems and field readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience applying technology in harsh industrial environments.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define and review project proposals and plans with colleagues and customers.
• Execute projects with defined phases, elements and schedule.
• Determine specifications by studying product design and customer requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates and loading configurations and OS upgrades.
• Maintain project data bases of deployed systems and configurations.
• Administer service agreements and monitor progress.
