Job summary

Hexagon Mining, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Technician to provide site-based and remote system support for mining projects. You will deploy systems at mine sites, perform basic troubleshooting, and develop procedures and reports in response to customer needs.

The role requires experience in harsh industrial environments, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to manage projects with Project Managers to ensure on-time, within-budget deployment. Travel to various sites is involved.

Qualifications

Experience applying technology in harsh industrial environments.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems quickly.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of general network infrastructure.
Empathetic, technically effective customer liaison.
Ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

Define and review project proposals with colleagues and customers.
Execute projects with defined phases, elements and schedule.
Determine project specifications by studying product design and requirements.
Prepare cost estimates.
Load basic configurations and operating systems onto equipment following change control.
Maintain project data and documentation.
