Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in industrial/mining tech, with Linux/Windows experience, scripting, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in Industrial/Mining Technology or IoT platforms.
• Experience managing Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex, integrated systems in production.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy on-premise and cloud-based system architectures.
• Deploy and commission Linux/Windows servers on site and in cloud environments.
• Configure and integrate customer systems, including customisations.
• Support integration with third-party systems (e.g., Fleet management, Power BI).
• Maintain system performance, availability, and capacity across distributed environments.
• Perform health checks, patching, upgrades, and audits.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, software, networking, and databases.
• Lead root cause analyses and preventive measures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
