Job summary

Hexagon Mining, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Technician to provide site-based and remote system support for customers in the region. The role involves deploying new and upgraded mining systems at mine sites, basic troubleshooting, and configuring operating systems.

You will develop procedures and reports to meet customer needs and escalate issues when required. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in mining hardware environments, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• N6 with trade test or engineering diploma/degree preferred.
• Engineering degree or equivalent in Computer, Mining, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years mining industry experience in hardware installation and maintenance or similar role.
• Fluency in English; French advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-based and remote system support to customers in the region.
• Deploy new and upgraded mining systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software and configuration of operating systems.
• Develop procedures and system reports to meet customer needs.
• Escalate issues per defined processes and coordinate with project engineers.
