You will collaborate with geologists, surveyors, and operations personnel, translating resource models into actionable production schedules and using Deswik, Vulcan, and Whittle for modeling and optimization.

The role requires strong technical mine planning software skills and a solid understanding of mining

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine planning and design.
Proven ability to develop detailed short-term and long-term mine plans.
Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term mine production plans.
Optimize mine layouts, sequencing, and production schedules to maximize resource recovery and economic viability.
Utilize mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, Whittle) for modeling and optimization.
Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for mine development projects.
Collaborate with operations to ensure plans are practical and can be implemented safely and efficiently.
Monitor production performance against plans and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
