About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Mine Planning Engineer to join their team in Kimberley . This role is responsible for developing and optimizing short-term and long-term mine plans to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable resource extraction. You will work closely with geologists, surveyors, and operations personnel to translate resource models into actionable production schedules. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in mine planning software and a solid understanding of mining operations within the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term mine production plans.
Optimize mine layouts, sequencing, and production schedules to maximize resource recovery and economic viability.
Utilize mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, Whittle) for modeling and optimization.

Requirements
