Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join its Outreach Programs. This fully remote role enables flexible service delivery across the North West province, including Rustenburg.

Formación

• 2 years of direct mental health support experience.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join their expanding Outreach Programs team. This is a fully remote position, allowing for flexible service delivery across the **North West** province. The primary focus is to provide essential support, guidance, and advocacy for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The support worker will engage with clients through virtual platforms, conduct remote check-ins, and connect them with appropriate community resources. This role demands empathy, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting vulnerable populations. Key Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals experiencing mental health issues via phone, video calls, and secure messaging.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

• Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and digital record-keeping software.
