Job summary

Euromonitor International in Cape Town, SA, is hiring for a Marketing Automation Lead. This full-time role focuses on establishing the platform, workflows and data standards behind Marketo, then expanding to campaigns and mass personalization at scale.

You will rebuild the automation function, partner on the broader tech stack, manage data quality, and champion AI-enabled workflows while guiding a direct report.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in marketing automation or marketing operations.
• Experience rebuilding or significantly overhauling a marketing automation function.
• Team management experience or readiness for first-time people management.
• Ability to explore AI opportunities and integrate AI tools.
• All experience must be in B2B marketing.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild marketing automation on Marketo, including platform, workflows and data.
• Partner with marketing technology leadership on the tech stack and strategy.
• Manage Marketo-Salesforce integration, data quality, attribution and reporting.
• Develop campaigns, nurture and lead scoring; roll out language/industry personalization.
• Lead a direct report; embed AI/agentic workflows and AI tools adoption.
