Job summary

Euromonitor International seeks a Marketing Engineer to design and build agentic systems for a global growth engine. Based in Cape Town, you’ll gather requirements, map current marketing workflows, and implement automated solutions integrated with Marketo and Salesforce.

You’ll own the agents from build to production, ensuring quality, documentation, and scalable deployment across regions. A hands-on role with collaboration across Marketing Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience building automated systems, integrations or AI agents (engineer, data engineer, automation engineer or technical marketing).
• Fluent English is a must.
• Some experience with AI in professional or personal projects; show what you built.
• Solid understanding of Marketo and Salesforce within a marketing stack.
• Solid understanding of APIs and MCP-based integrations to connect agents to live data.
• Practical scripting ability (Python or JavaScript) and comfort with AI agent tooling.
• Builder’s instinct: prototype quickly, test properly, respect data, document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from marketing colleagues, map workflows, and design automated agentic solutions.
• Build and maintain AI agents and automated workflows for campaign QA, content ops, research, reporting, and lead follow-up.
• Own agents in production: versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement with guardrails and escalation points.
• Connect agents to the data lake and marketing stack (Marketo, Salesforce) via APIs and MCP integrations.
• Collaborate across regions, document what you build, and comply with data protection and AI usage standards.
