Job summary

Craven Cottage CC is seeking a professional receptionist to join our luxury lodge front desk team. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and provide accurate information about facilities, activities, dining, and services.

Ideal candidates have a Grade 12, strong English, and proven guest service skills. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required; hospitality experience is preferred.
• Experience in a front office, reception or guest relations role is advantageous.
• Knowledge of hotel front office procedures and guest service standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests professionally throughout their stay.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs, and respond to guest enquiries.
• Provide information about lodge facilities, activities, dining and services.
• Address guest requests and concerns promptly, escalating when needed.
• Maintain a welcoming and organised reception area and complete daily front office duties.
• Report discrepancies to the Front Office Manager promptly.
