Job summary

The role requires a Formal Hospitality Qualification, at least 3 years in a luxury environment, strong computer literacy (Opera PMS, POS, Word, Excel, Outlook) and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Formal Hospitality Qualification required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a 5* or luxury environment.
• Strong administrative background with computer literacy (Opera, POS, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluency in English; experience dealing with international guests.
• Knowledge of Cape Town's dining and leisure offerings.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests efficiently and courteously across Front Office functions.
• Support concierge with personalised, discreet guest service from pre-arrival to departure.
• Curate bespoke experiences based on guest preferences.
• Assist arrivals and departures, including check-ins, luggage, and special requirements.
• Coordinate guest transportation, airport transfers, chauffeur services and restaurant reservations.
• Maintain guest profiles, itineraries, reservations and preferences in Opera PMS.
• Liaise with F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Events and Front Office to execute guest requirements.
• Prepare and maintain daily handovers, checklists and logs; keep SOPs audit-ready.
• Support property readiness through regular walkthroughs and coordination with departments.
