Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment & Training on behalf of a prestigious luxury hotel in Hermanus is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the reception and guest relations team, ensuring warm, personalised service from arrival to departure.

You will oversee daily operations, staff rostering, and coordination with housekeeping, reservations, and F&B while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction in a dynamic luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Front Office Manager in a luxury hotel.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a Front Office team.
• Strong guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with front desk procedures, guest accounts and Night Audit.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Reception, Guest Relations, Porters and Night Audit.
• Lead and develop Front Office team to deliver personalised guest experiences.
• Maintain high service standards in a luxury hotel environment.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, F&B to ensure seamless guest stays.
• Manage guest arrivals/departures, room allocations and special requests.
• Monitor room availability, guest accounts and billing procedures.
• Prepare rosters and manage scheduling; conduct team briefings.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required.
