Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Process Optimization Engineer to join our industrial operations team in East London. You will analyze current production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven improvements to boost efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires a strong background in lean, Six Sigma, and SPC, with hands-on experience in process mapping, data analysis, and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 4+ years in process engineering, continuous improvement, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes to identify efficiency and resource-use improvements.
• Develop and implement lean tools to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Conduct root cause analysis on deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Design and document optimal operating procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes.
• Monitor process performance with key metrics and report findings.
