Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Process Engineer in East London to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The role combines on-site collaboration with a hybrid work model, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction and product quality through lean initiatives and data-driven analysis.

The candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, 4+ years in process engineering/CI, and experience with lean tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
At least 4 years in process engineering or continuous improvement in manufacturing.
Experience with lean tools and techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, VSM.
Strong analytical ability and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication; ability to collaborate in hybrid settings.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Design, implement, and monitor lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues.
Track KPIs related to process efficiency, quality, and cost.
Lead cross‑functional teams on continuous improvement projects.
