Placements24 in Gauteng is seeking a seasoned Lead Technical Recruiter to head the technology recruitment division. You will drive strategy, manage a team of recruiters, and nurture strong client relationships within the tech sector.

The ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience in technical recruitment, deep IT landscape knowledge, and a proven track record of sourcing and placing top technical talent.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in technical recruitment with leadership exposure.
• Proven ability to source for Java, Python, .NET, AWS/Azure, AI/ML and DevOps.
• Experience leading a recruitment team and mentoring recruiters.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche tech boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technical recruiters, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Develop and execute advanced recruitment strategies for technology roles across software development, data science, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of qualified technical professionals through proactive sourcing and employer branding.
• Collaborate with clients to understand technical hiring requirements and long-term goals.
• Conduct in-depth technical interviews and assessments to evaluate skills and potential.
• Manage client relationships with regular updates and market insights.
