Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Recruitment Consultant to spearhead its technology recruitment division in Benoni, Gauteng. This on-site role requires guiding a team of consultants, driving business development, and delivering high-quality tech placements for a growing client base.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in recruitment with a strong IT focus, proven leadership, and a deep understanding of market trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of recruitment experience with a strong technology focus.
• Proven leadership or senior consultant track record in recruitment.
• Strong business development and client relationship management within recruitment.
• Deep knowledge of the technology market, roles, skills, and trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Based in Benoni or willing to commute regularly to Benoni, Gauteng.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruitment consultants specializing in technology placements.
• Drive business development to expand the client portfolio within technology, focusing on Benoni and Gauteng.
• Oversee full recruitment lifecycle for complex technical roles with quality and efficiency.
• Develop and nurture long-term client relationships and strategic talent planning.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
• Set team targets and monitor progress toward recruitment KPIs and goals.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, ethics, and company policies.
• Contribute to recruitment strategy development and process improvements.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for major accounts with strategic guidance.
• Foster a high-performance culture with collaboration and continuous improvement.
