Placements24 is seeking a Lead Recruitment Consultant to spearhead our mining and resources recruitment initiatives in a fully remote role. You will manage a portfolio of high-value clients, sourcing engineers, geologists and leaders for major mining operations, while mentoring junior consultants and driving business growth from a remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in mining recruitment, strong leadership, and expert sourcing capabilities, with a background in HR or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of recruitment experience with a strong Mining & Resources focus.
• Proven ability to lead recruitment projects and manage senior client relationships.
• Deep knowledge of technical roles in mining operations, exploration, and processing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and advanced sourcing techniques.
• Thrives in remote work with strong self-motivation and time management.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Mining, Geology, HR or related field is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will be based operationally in the vicinity of Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA , but will not be required to attend a physical office.
