About the Role

Our client, a distinguished recruitment consultancy, is actively searching for an accomplished Lead Recruitment Consultant specializing in Executive Search to anchor their operations in Tembisa, Gauteng. This pivotal role involves leading high-stakes recruitment assignments for senior executive positions across a spectrum of industries, including technology, finance, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a sophisticated understanding of executive search methodologies, a robust network of senior-level contacts, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional results for demanding clients. You will be responsible for managing a team of consultants, nurturing client relationships at the C-suite level, and contributing significantly to the strategic direction of the firm's executive search division. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the end-to-end executive search process for senior leadership roles, from mandate definition to candidate placement and integration support.
• Develop and execute sophisticated search strategies, leveraging market intelligence and extensive networking to identify top-tier executive talent.
• Conduct in-depth competency-based interviews and rigorous due diligence on potential candidates.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted advisory relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers at client organizations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruitment consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying new client opportunities and expanding existing relationships within the executive landscape.
• Ensure the highest standards of client service, discretion, and professionalism throughout the recruitment process.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of executive search methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of dedicated experience in executive search or retained recruitment, with a strong focus on senior-level placements.
• Demonstrated success in completing challenging searches for C-suite, VP, and Director-level positions.
• Extensive experience in candidate sourcing, assessment, and stakeholder management at the executive level.
• Exceptional business acumen, commercial awareness, and the ability to understand complex organizational structures.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at the highest levels.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Business, Psychology, HR) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing, results-driven environment in Tembisa, Gauteng.
