You will build networks with senior finance leaders, map markets, and craft targeted strategies while maintaining confidentiality and delivering outcomes that shape client leadership teams. This role is office-based in Tembisa.

About the Role

Our client, a distinguished recruitment consultancy based in Tembisa, Gauteng , is seeking an accomplished Executive Recruitment Specialist to spearhead their finance division. This role is critical for identifying and attracting C-suite and senior-level finance professionals for a portfolio of high-profile clients. You will be responsible for managing complex executive search assignments, from initial client consultation through to successful candidate placement. This is a demanding yet highly rewarding position that requires a sophisticated understanding of the financial services industry and executive-level talent dynamics. The successful candidate will operate from our client's central Tembisa office, becoming an integral part of a highly respected and specialized recruitment team. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our client's reputation for excellence in executive search. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough market mapping and intelligence gathering for executive finance roles.
• Developing and executing targeted search strategies to identify passive and active candidates at senior levels.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with key industry leaders and potential candidates.
• Managing end-to-end executive search processes, including detailed candidate assessment and vetting.
• Presenting thoroughly vetted shortlists of candidates to clients, including detailed competency-based feedback.
• Advising clients on market intelligence, salary benchmarks, and talent acquisition strategies for senior finance roles.
• Negotiating complex executive compensation packages and facilitating seamless onboarding.
• Representing our client professionally in all interactions with stakeholders.
• Achieving ambitious placement targets and contributing to the growth of the finance practice.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the firm's CRM system.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in executive search or executive recruitment, with a strong focus on the finance sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing and delivering on retained search assignments for senior finance roles (CFO, FD, VP Finance, etc.).
• Exceptional understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, accounting principles, and industry trends.
• Proven ability to network effectively and build trust with senior executives.
• Outstanding analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to confidentiality.
• Experience using advanced search methodologies and professional networking platforms.
• A relevant degree in Finance, Business, HR, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strategic thinking and a proactive, results-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a client-facing role.
