Qualifications

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and mechanical engineering, with significant exposure to heavy industrial or mining equipment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and software (e.g., MS Project).
• Strong understanding of materials science, hydraulics, and pneumatics relevant to heavy machinery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple mechanical engineering projects from conception through to successful completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Oversee the design, fabrication, and testing of heavy-duty mining equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure project alignment and progress.
• Conduct site visits for equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, ensuring operational readiness.
• Implement risk management strategies and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
