With a strong leadership presence and a hands-on approach, you will mentor engineers, manage client/vendor relations, and implement robust project plans across diverse industrial initiatives in the North West province.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• At least 10 years in mechanical engineering with 5+ years in project management.
• Proven track record leading large-scale industrial/manufacturing projects.
• Familiarity with PMI or Agile project management methodologies.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Mechanical Project Engineer to spearhead critical projects from their facility in Rustenburg . This role demands a strong leader who can manage all phases of mechanical project lifecycles, from initial concept and design through to implementation and commissioning. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, fostering collaboration among engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple mechanical engineering projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient project completion.

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication strategies.

Requirements
