Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Lead Project Manager to spearhead complex mining projects in Rustenburg. You will plan, execute and deliver multi-million rand initiatives, optimize operations and drive adoption of new technologies.

The role requires over 7 years in PM, leadership of cross-functional teams, and strong risk and safety compliance. You will report to senior stakeholders and shape continuous improvement in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, with mining or heavy industry exposure.
• Proven track record delivering multi-million rand projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of major mining projects from concept to completion.
• Develop scopes, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, geologists, and operators.
• Implement risk management to identify and mitigate challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and support decision-making.
