Job summary

Fidelity Services Group seeks a proactive Key Account Manager to manage client relationships and day-to-day operations for the Durban area. You will coordinate fitments, repairs, de-installations and onboarding while supporting multiple teams and ensuring SLA compliance.

Responsibilities include responding to portal queries, maintaining accurate client data, producing reports, and training client staff on fleet portal usage and product elements.

Qualifications

• Very strong computer skills, especially Excel and data manipulation (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in Telematics advantageous

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen the client relationship and day-to-day operations
• Respond to client queries about tracking portal, fitments, repairs, stolen vehicle recoveries and related issues
• Manage issues with internal and external customers and provide timely resolutions
• Prepare and present reports to customers and assist internal reporting
• Ensure client database accuracy and update anomalies promptly
• Coordinate new fitments, repairs, de-installations and re-installations
• Provide marketing material and training guidance to client branches for on-selling tracking units
• Train relevant staff on fleet portal usage and related product elements
• Regularly run health checks on units and coordinate repairs as needed
• Ensure on-site staff appearance, punctuality, productivity and adherence to standards
• Implement controls over stock and SIM cards for the account
• Plan and update systems for new fitments and deactivation in billing systems
• Assist with timely collections of outstanding invoices
• Handle additional billing per SLA and support stock forecasting and budgeting
