Job summary

HotelJobs, Cape Town, seeks a Junior House Manager / Assistant Concierge for a luxury property. You will work closely with the House Management and Concierge teams to deliver personalised service from pre-arrival to departure, manage guest profiles and reservations on Opera, and support daily operations.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar luxury setting with strong admin and computer skills (Opera, POS, Word, Excel & Outlook).

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a 5-star or luxury environment.
Formal Hospitality qualification preferred.
Strong administrative and computer skills.
Opera, POS, Word, Excel & Outlook experience.

Responsibilities

Personalised guest service from pre-arrival to departure.
Arrivals, departures, luggage and special requests.
Guest transfers, chauffeur services, restaurant reservations and experiences.
Curating bespoke guest experiences and thoughtful touches.
Maintaining guest profiles, itineraries and reservations on Opera.
Cross-departmental coordination with F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Culinary and Front Office.
Property readiness, guest-area checks and daily operational support.
Handovers, briefings, checklists and administrative systems.
Supporting the House Manager and Duty Manager with light operational oversight.
