Job summary

Craven Cottage CC is seeking a hands-on Hospitality Leader to deliver exceptional guest experiences at a luxury lodge in Mpumalanga. You will lead the front office, coordinate multiple departments, and ensure Elite member benefits are delivered with personalised service.

The role requires 3–5 years in hotel/lodge operations, strong communication, and a passion for safari-style, authentic experiences. Flexibility to work shifts and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in hotel/lodge operations with supervisory or management experience.
• Luxury hotel/lodge experience is advantageous.
• South African citizenship or valid right to work in South Africa.
• Proven experience in a Duty Manager/Front Office leadership role or similar.
• Experience with international guests and high-profile guests.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible, engaging host throughout the guest journey.
• Personally welcome and farewell guests while building relationships.
• Ensure Elite members' benefits are delivered smoothly.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive improvements.
• Oversee front office operations and supervise related departments.
• Lead shifts, manage incidents and ensure luxury standards.
• Communicate guest requirements across teams.
• Coach and develop the team to maintain high grooming and service.
