Job summary

Raubex Building Cape is seeking a Junior IT Support Technician on a contract basis. The role covers remote and on-site support, Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and hardware deployments across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in IT support, strong communication, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage AD/Entra ID, and assist with network installations, while coordinating with suppliers and senior team members on larger projects.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years IT support experience
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Windows 11
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills
• Good networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site IT support across Microsoft 365, Office apps, Windows and core business software
• Triages and resolves helpdesk tickets within SLAs
• Configure, deploy and maintain desktops, laptops and peripherals
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Microsoft 365/AD Entra ID
• Install, upgrade and patch software; perform OS deployments
• Diagnose hardware faults and coordinate repairs with suppliers
• Install and support network hardware at remote sites
• Provide second-line server support under senior guidance
• Maintain IT stock, asset registers and storeroom inventory
• Source hardware/software quotations from approved suppliers
• Document IT procedures and user-facing knowledge base articles
• Support broader IT projects and infrastructure initiatives
