Role Description:

The Junior Internal/External Service Sales Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Johannesburg. This role involves handling inbound and outbound sales inquiries for out-of-warranty IT services and repairs, while providing professional support to internal teams and external customers. The agent will prepare quotations, process orders, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM or sales systems. Daily responsibilities include liaising with clients and resellers, coordinating with technical and logistics teams to ensure timely service delivery, and promoting relevant spare parts and service solutions. The role also requires clear communication, prompt resolution of customer queries, and proactive engagement to grow service sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills, including the ability to engage professionally with internal teams and external clients.
• Sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on service sales, lead follow-up, and converting inquiries into confirmed orders.
• Basic IT hardware knowledge, particularly around laptops, PCs, monitors, scanners, printers, and related spare parts.
• Administrative and organisational skills, including accurate data entry, record‑keeping, and use of CRM or sales systems.
• Problem‑solving and time management skills to prioritise tasks, manage multiple requests, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent; a sales, business, or IT‑related qualification or coursework is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a sales support, call centre, or customer service role within an IT or technical environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work on‑site in Johannesburg, collaborate within a team, and demonstrate a proactive, service‑oriented mindset.
