Job summary

Chainlink Recruitment in Johannesburg seeks an organised Internal Sales Rep to act as the operational hub of the sales team, handling end-to-end processes from quotation to delivery and ensuring top-notch service for clients.

You will own order processing, quoting, invoicing, and liaison with warehouse/logistics, while supporting account managers. A minimum of five years in internal sales or sales support is required, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Internal Sales Rep to serve as the operational hub of our sales team in Johannesburg. You will manage the end-to-end sales process—from initial quotation to final delivery—ensuring our customers receive world-class service while our field sales team remains focused on growth

• Order Processing: Receiving, checking, and processing customer orders via phone and email.

• Quoting & Invoicing: Preparing and sending quotes within specified timeframes and issuing invoices accurately.

• Support Sales Team: Supporting account managers and external sales representative with administrative tasks and helping with upselling.

• Customer Support: Handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive client relationships.

• Customer Liaison: Act as the primary internal contact for client enquiries regarding stock availability, lead times, and order status.

• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to expedite urgent orders and resolve delivery discrepancies.

• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with a professional telephone manner.

• Attributes: High attention to detail, ability to multitask under pressure, and a proactive "problem-solver" mindset.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in internal sales, sales support, and administrative role.
