Wild Dreams Hospitality seeks a Junior Duty Manager to support daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction. You will welcome guests, assist with check-ins/outs, and coordinate across departments while supervising staff and maintaining housekeeping standards.

This live-in role offers accommodation and a 6/2 work cycle, with the opportunity to contribute across departments and grow lodge management experience.

Qualifications

• Previous lodge, hotel or hospitality experience
• Exposure to front-of-house and general lodge operations
• Strong guest relations and communication skills
• Well-spoken, professional and presentable
• Good organisational and administrative ability
• Ability to supervise and motivate staff
• Basic stock control experience
• Understanding of housekeeping standards and procedures
• Food and beverage experience advantageous
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Flexible and willing to assist across departments when required

Responsibilities

• Assist management with the daily running of lodge operations
• Welcome guests and ensure a professional and personalised guest experience
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs and general front-of-house duties
• Handle guest queries and requests efficiently
• Supervise staff and ensure daily duties are completed to standard
• Support housekeeping and conduct room and lodge checks
• Assist with stock control, stock takes and ordering
• Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with functions, special occasions and guest arrangements
• Maintain high operational and guest service standards throughout the property

The Junior Duty Manager will support the management team with the day-to-day running of the lodge, ensuring smooth operations and consistently high standards of guest service.

This role would suit a confident, well-presented and adaptable individual who enjoys being involved across departments, interacting with guests and taking responsibility when required.

Core Criteria:

• Previous lodge, hotel or hospitality experience
• Drivers licence and own transport preferred
• Exposure to front-of-house and general lodge operations
