Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking a live-in Lodge Manager to oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences at a KwaZulu-Natal lodge.

This role requires hospitality qualifications and at least 2 years in a similar position, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. You will coordinate guest services, front desk, kitchen, activities and events while maintaining lodge standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in hospitality or lodge management.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position and environment.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and host guests; ensuring exceptional service throughout their stay.
• Oversee daily lodge operations in collaboration with department heads.
• Ensure smooth communication between guest services, kitchen, and activities teams.
• Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Support front office with check-ins, reservations, and administration.
• Assist with event coordination for guest activities and special occasions.
• Maintain lodge standards in service, safety, and hospitality.
