Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join their Tembisa-based team, offering a hybrid work model that balances on-site site development activities with remote planning.

You will work under senior engineers on infrastructure projects in Gauteng, gaining exposure to stormwater, roads, earthworks, and cost estimation while developing professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in Gauteng.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for drawing preparation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and specs for site development.
• Conduct site investigations to inform design decisions.
• Support planning, scheduling, and cost estimation with senior engineers.
• Monitor construction for compliance with specs and quality standards.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and permit applications.
• Collaborate with contractors, authorities, and internal teams.
• Gain exposure to stormwater, road design, and earthworks.
