Placements24 seeks a proactive Civil Engineer focused on Site Development for our East London office. The role mixes remote work with essential in-office days and centers on land development design, grading, drainage, utilities, and road access.

You will design layouts, prepare construction documents, and perform hydrological calculations while coordinating with clients and authorities. Hybrid work and local project delivery in the Eastern Cape are key aspects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in site development or related civil fields.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for site design.
• Understanding of South African land development regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Design site layouts, grading plans, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare drawings, specs, and construction documents using CAD.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic calculations for drainage/utilities.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, surveyors, and authorities through design/approval.
• Ensure compliance with zoning, codes, and environmental regs.
• Visit sites to monitor progress and address design issues.
