Placements24 is seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer for a hybrid role in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will design, develop, and implement civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with standards and timelines, and collaborating with managers and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with strong hydraulic and road design knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic design principles, road geometry, and site grading.
• Familiarity with SANS and local municipal requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed design calculations for roadworks, earthworks, and drainage.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents using CAD.
• Conduct site investigations and surveys for design data.
• Ensure designs comply with national/local codes and environmental regs.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and contractors for approvals.
• Manage design phase timelines and budgets.
